    Here is something every Human being should know. Man ought to live in harmony with his surroundings to elevate himself above nature and finally attain the state of Emancipation. That is the end of religion. In his endeavor, he needs and is needed by many sections of the society. The great Rishis of Bharatvarsha, to whom we are all so indebted, gave us the knowledge in form of rules - which by incorporating into our lifestyle, our purpose of birth is achieved.

A man when born in this world is born with Panch Runa[five debts]

• Pitru Runa [ debt towards the father ]
• Matru Runa [ debt towards the Mother]
• Dev Runa [ debt towards Devatas]
• Rushi Runa [ debt towards preceptors]
• Manushya runa [debt to the society]
• Bhuta Runa [ debt towards the elements /environment]

Pitru Runa gets cleared when the child performs the final rituals of the father upon his demise.[he is free from debt of the father]

Matru Runa does not get cleared at all [ one can never repay what a mother does to his child . We are all ever indebted to a mother for having brought us into this world bearing all the pain and nourishing us selflessly]

Deva Runa is cleared by performing our duties as worship

Rishi runa is cleared when we make correct usage of our knowledge and teach it to an able disciple

Manushya runa – Debt to the society. We avail the services of so many people in the society like farmers, masons, weavers, shop keepers, drivers, mechanics, police, soldiers, etc.

•Pay for services
•Treat other people with due respect
•Help others
•Donate towards relief work
•Donate towards the development of underprivileged

Bhuta runa can be cleared only by proper use of materials made available to us by God ,whether it is fire ,water ,air , house utensils and grain and other objects .[By not polluting them and respecting them in its correct usage avoiding abuse and ill distribution]

•Pay for services
•Treat animals kindly
•Give comfort to animals
•Plant trees

Let us all realise this and strive to attain perfection in this very birth. The beauty and peace of following Dharma is unsurpassable !
